NextCloud Checklist

Before getting started on NextCloud it’s important you consider the following questions:

  1. Is there a specific folder structure you need for your office, such as specific folders for departments or individual projects?
  2. Who will have access to these folders?
  3. How are you going to ensure every staff member is using NextCloud to back up their important documents?
  4. Do you need or want to use NextCloud’s integration with ResourceSpace to manage your large photo and video files?

Moving to a cloud-based backup and storage system such as NextCloud is also a great opportunity to clean up the hard-drive on your PC. Why not use this opportunity to encourage every staff member to:

  1. Delete files that are no longer needed.
  2. Sort and move files that are saved on the Desktop or Downloads folders to more meaningful places.
  3. Review your offices file storage systems and determine if a better folder structure could be implemented.
